Every year Alaska gathers basketball, football and volleyball enthusiasts through its Alaska Power Camps. The sports program inspires both boys and girls to engage in sports. Children will not only improve their talent but also acquire proper skills development and formation of Power Camp values of discipline, determination, hard work, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Distinguished Philippine sports icons will lead the Alaska Power Camps.
Philippine Basketball Association legend and camp director Jeffrey Cariaso lead the Alaska Basketball Power Camp coaches who will teach the most important aspects of the game of basketball. The camp is open to boys and girls.
The basketball power camp promote Alaska’s belief that sports play an important role in instilling positive values among the youth including discipline, hard work, teamwork and determination.
Camp director, former professional Spanish football player of Real Madrid and founder-director of Makati Football School, Tomas Lozano will lead the Alaska Football Power Camp. The program continues to teach football enthusiasts the fundamentals of sport and helps develop their skills with the help of the best football coaches in the country. The camp is open for girls and boys aged 3 to 18 years old. Camp participants will benefit from the experience and knowledge of former and present members of Philippine National Football Team Azkals as well as First Division players of United Football League as coaches and trainers.
Michele Gumabao, former De La Salle Lady Spikers will lead a team of volleyball experts in teaching aspiring young girls the most important aspect of the game. Michelle was titled as MVP and best blocker in UAAP. She now plays in the Philippine Super Liga as team captain of the Philips Gold Lady Slammers.
Alaska continue to encourage children to go out and play by participating in various Alaska sports program like Alaska Power Camp.
