Streetwise Event Management and Public Relations in partnership with Manila Tourism and Cultural Affairs Bureau of the local government of Manila and the Rotary Club of Ermita is holding the first ever run-for-a-cause event entitled “Streetwise Burdado Color Run 2016” that will be held on November 13, 2016 at Rajah Sulayman Park, Roxas Boulevard, Malate, Manila.
Aside from urging the tattooed public towards active and healthy lifestyle, they also want to improve the perception and credibility of tattooed individuals by showcasing the tattoo industry as an art of expression.
“Streetwise has always been fond of organizing charity events that serve as the guide and inspiration for our fellow citizens. We wanted to ease the reservations of the general public about tattooed individuals. We wanted to help reform the mentality that when one is with tattoos, they are former convicts or jail inmates or just anyone with bad intentions. Tattoos are actually an art of expression and are deeply linked to our culture and history.” – Kenneth Montegrande, Streetwise Managing Director.
Participants will enjoy the event as there are various activities lined up during the event aside of colored powder pouring, participants will experience great rock and roll music played by famous DJ’s. They will also give free tattoo seminar pass led by tattoo masters that will be held on November 15, 2016.
