Do I need a team to participate?

It would be great it you came along with your own group, but for as long as you are willing to help yourself and others, you can participate.

If you don’t have a team though, it’s okay.  You will find that you will not be bored at the event, not event for a minute.  The obstacles are designed in such a way that each and every participant will be a part of one massive team with one goal.

You will run side-by-side with hundreds of other participants and will most definitely make some spontaneous friendships along the course.

Share your strengths and do not leave anyone behind!

How do I create a team?

All you need to do is pay for the first ticket.  During the signup process you will be asked to set up the team, generate a secret code.  People you  invite to the team may then join to your team by entering the secret team code.  Team members will pay their own ticket individually but benefit the team discount.  No specific number of team members per group.

What do I receive after I register?

You will receive a confirmation mail immediately after registration online.  This will include your ticket as well as a waiver form.  Kindly print it, read the attached waiver carefully and then sign it.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds will only be done in cases where legion run itself cancels the event.  Under no other circumstances will a refund be allowed.

On event day, when should I arrive?

We recommend you arrive an hour before the wave you want to participate.  The wave will be every 20 minutes with 175 people in each wave.  GUN STARTS at 8:00 am.  Kit claiming and check in is open starting 6am.

Keep in mine that if you come late, you may not be able to join you team’s wave and will have to run in the next available wave.

What do I need to bring in order to check in?

Bring a valid government ID plus your printed and signed ticket.

What should I wear?

  • Half-finger training (grip) gloves
  • Long tights/compression pants
  • Knee high socks
  • Sports shoes

During the run, DO NOT wear anything that you would not want it to be covered with mud all over.  Wear clothes you won’t be worried about.  Wearing costumes is allowed as long as you will be comfortable wearing them along the muddy obstacle course.

How long does it take to run the course?

Finish time depends on you and your team on whether you are competitive by nature or you are doing the course just for the fun of it.

The average finish time is an hour and a half.

Am I allowed to skip obstacles?

Of course!  This is not a competition, so there are no penalties for bypassing.

The idea is to challenge one’s self and have fun, not to  be terrified and get injured to the point of not having fun anymore!

Will there be food and drinks on site?

Along the course, there will be several stations with free water and sports drink for all the participants.

There will also be food and drink vendors on site offering something for everyone, so please don’t bring food and drinks with you.

Will there be any medical help?

Yes.  Several firs aid teams will  be positioned along the course, ready to assist immediately if medical help is needed.

Will there be any after-party?

Why after?!  The whole event itself is a priceless party – there will be food, drinks, music and some happy muddy creatures wandering around.

Will there be parking available at the event?

The location map and GPS coordinates are listed on the event page.  Parking is at Paseo de Sta. Rosa.  Minimal fee applies.

Will there be showers and portalet?

Yes  but do not expect a five-star facilities though.  You’ll be able to hose down mud and sweat at the end of the course.  We kindly ask all participants to use the shower facilities wisely in order to avoid unnecessary queues.

Are spectators be allowed?

Yes.  The more the merrier!  The fun is definitely worth it!  They will be also be able to choose their own activities from the host of the event partners on the day for FREE!

Are spectators allowed to walk along the course and take pictures or videos?

Yes.  They are allowed to follow the participants at some of the course and take pictures.  But please note that spectators must not get in the way of participants, attempt or complete obstacles.

Can minors and kids come as spectators?

Yes.  There will be plenty of activities for them too but we recommend you make sure there is someone attending their needs while you are at the course.

I sweat a lot and drank tons of water but I had a blast participating on those activities with my sports/runner-blogger friends.  Thank you Under Armour Philippines for this fun event.

Once again, The Music Run™ by Philam Vitality, in partnership with music streaming service Spotify, returns to amp up an even larger crowd with everyone’s favorite playlist across Mckinley West, Taguig City on December 3.

“This is the secondtime that Philam Life is partnering with The Music Run™. We want to send a strong message that being healthy can also be fun and engaging.  One of our company’s main thrusts is healthy living through our Philam Vitality program, which is the first of its kind in the Philippines. It is a full-scale wellness program where members get rewarded for making healthy choices. The Music Run™  started in Asia and expanded throughout the region before crossing over to Europe and the US in the last two years.  The reason for its massive success is its winning formula that combines music with the ever-growing fitness craze into the ultimate running.

It’s more like a party than a run.  The 5-kilometer run will include five music-themed zones playing rock, pop, old school, hip-hop, and dance.  Using the live Spotify Music Voting App on www.themusicrun.com.ph, participants can vote up to five songs per playlist every day to build the official soundtrack for each zone.
